A 6-year-old Persian cat had an abscess, which is a pocket of infection, in the right front part of its lung caused by a type of bacteria called Mycoplasma. The cat underwent surgery to remove the infected part of the lung and was treated with a medication called tylosin for two weeks. After these treatments, the cat showed a good recovery.
