Abstract
The clinical features and pathology of an ocular melanoma in a young born-grey mare are described. The tumour, possibly arising on the cornea, invaded the eye and extra-orbital muscles. Histologically; it consisted predominantly of spindle-shaped and polygonal cells containing melanin.
