Abstract

Background: Canine atopic dermatitis (CAD) is an incurable inflammatory and pruritic allergic skin disease that starts in young dogs and requires lifelong management. There have been limited choices for the management of CAD, but over the past few years two, more‐targeted, therapies have been developed.Aim of the article: This article aims to review the use of these newer therapies and how they fit into the management of this complex disease.
