Abstract
Myxomatous mitral valve disease (MMVD) is the most common heart disease in dogs, and can lead to the development of congestive heart failure (CHF). The features, diagnosis and staging of MMVD were discussed in part 1 ( Sewell, 2016 ). This article discusses the management and prognosis for dogs with MMVD.
