Abstract
Dogs are important large animal models of human retinal disorders. Visual navigation ability is an important outcome measure with relevance to real-world conditions. Here we describe methods to conduct behavioral assessment of dog visual navigation ability in a variety of luminance conditions. This method is suitable as a therapeutic trial endpoint for gene therapy studies in dogs.
